Minimum 4 students, ages 6-12

Fresh, local flowers from Ruby Hill Flower Farm will be the centerpiece of this class. After learning fun facts and the names of flowers, aspiring florists will use their creativity to design their own flower arrangement in a mason jar. We will discuss shape, smell, texture, and color theory as it applies to floral design and will admire examples of floral art to inspire us! To wrap up the class, we'll document and point our beautiful bouquets using watercolor paints. Each child will take their flower arrangement and watercolor painting home.
