Tuesday Evening Pottery (Adults)

Beginners to Intermediate. (minimum students 6, maximum 8)

8 TUESDAYS: June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22 5:30-8:30 pm ET
$161.50 member, $190 non-member +clay $25/25# + $25 tools if needed.

For beginners with no experience and intermediate students. We will work on hand building and/or wheel throwing. We will explore the properties of clay and how to form it, decorating techniques, and glaze application. All classes use stoneware clay fired to cone 6 with food safe glazes in an electric kiln. Students may bring their own tools or purchase a kit for $25. All students are required to purchase clay from us at $25 for 25 pounds which includes glaze and firing fees.  

 Double your class hours with any combination of up to 8 supervised open studios on Saturdays 9:30-12:30, Tuesdays 10-1, Thursdays 10-1 or Friday nights 5-8 pm, Sundays 2:30-5:30 June 3-July 26
