Let’s create a new, one-of-a-kind journal for the new year! In this class, we will create a custom, one-of-a-kind art journal filled with your hopes and intentions for the new year. Using recycled materials to create the fabric cover, we will fill your custom journal with handmade and upcycled pages. We will explore different mixed media techniques and create custom artist papers to put in our journals. Once the journal is complete, we will spend some time creating in your new journal, setting intentions for the new year, and discussing the importance of daily creative practice and what it means to create intuitively. Art journals are an easy, low-risk, creative form of self-care; they are a perfect way to fit in creative time throughout the margins of your busy day. A list of materials will be provided.
